Stalar is a business-to-business platform and is not directed at consumers. For prospect or contact data we process on behalf of our customers, those customers are the data controllers — please contact them directly to exercise your rights.
1. Who we are
Hypergrowth AB is a Swedish company and the controller of personal data collected through our website and platform accounts. You can reach us at hello@stalar.ai.
2. Data we collect and why
- Account data — your name, work email, and profile details, used to create and manage your account.
- Billing data — organisation and payment details, used to manage subscriptions and invoicing.
- Usage and security data — sign-in activity, IP address, and device information, used to keep the service secure and reliable.
- Communications — messages you send us and the details you share when requesting access or support.
3. Legal bases
We process personal data to perform our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), to meet legal obligations such as accounting and tax (Art. 6(1)(c)), and for our legitimate interests in securing, maintaining, and improving the service (Art. 6(1)(f)).
4. Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for third-party marketing. Anyone who processes personal data on our behalf to help run Stalar is bound by confidentiality and may use it only on our instructions.
5. International transfers
Our infrastructure is hosted within the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above — for the life of your account, and longer where the law requires it (for example, billing and accounting records). We delete or anonymise personal data once it is no longer needed.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data, and you may object to or request restriction of certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@stalar.ai. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or your local supervisory authority.
8. Cookies
The Stalar platform uses only essential cookies needed to sign you in and keep it working. On our public website we use a limited set of analytics and lead-identification tools to understand interest in Stalar; these may set cookies or similar identifiers.
9. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls on a need-to-know basis, and ongoing monitoring.
10. Children
Stalar is a business platform and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.
11. Browser extension
The Stalar browser extension is an optional add-on for signed-in Stalar users. With your permission, it signs you in via OAuth and stores the resulting access tokens locally on your device to keep you signed in. When you ask the assistant to act on a page, it reads the relevant content of the LinkedIn or Gmail page you are viewing — for example a profile, company, or conversation — and sends it, together with your chat messages, to your Stalar account at app.stalar.ai to carry out the request.
The extension does not read pages in the background or without your request, contains no analytics, advertising, or remote code, and never sends messages on your behalf — drafts are placed in the page's composer for you to review and send. We do not sell this data or use it for any purpose beyond running the requested Stalar features.
